

Billy Montano Zamora from Alb. NM, 91, went to be with the Lord peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on February 27, 2018. Billy Zamora is preceded in death by his parents Eleno and Rita Zamora, Leonard Zamora (brother), Elias Zamora (brother), two grandchildren Steven Zamora and Charmaine Zamora. Billy M Zamora is survived by his wife Candy Zamora their four children Billy Zamora (Patsy), Robert Zamora, Roberta Zamora, and Leonard Zamora (Myra), Bobby Zamora (Donna) (brother), six grandchildren Justin Abrams, Christopher Zamora (Marichu), Tesha Martinez (Miguel), Angelo Zamora, Sarina Zamora (DJ), Aurie Anna Abrams (Adrianna), and nine great grandchildren.
Billy M Zamora, was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 22, 1926 where he grew up and attended Albuquerque High School and was a graduate of Albuquerque Business College. Billy was a proud Navy Veteran of World War II. He had a lifelong career in law enforcement starting with Albuquerque Police Department and retiring as Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal in 1981. In 1946 Billy was awarded an Accommodation Ribbon for Outstanding heroism in Action during the Solomon Island Campaign. Billy married the love of his life Candy in 1947 and had seventy wonderful years of marriage. Billy was a man of integrity and loved his family. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Located at 4001 Osuna Road NE Albuquerque, NM on Friday March 09, 2018 at 10:00am. Immediately following a pot luck reception will be held in The Plex at Calvary. Cremation is in the care of Neptune Society Albuquerque.
