Linda Sue was born on April 18 1943 in Hattieville Arkansas to the late Woodrow and Narvell Rice and passed away on April 29, 2021. Linda Sue loved to fish and in her younger years water ski and ride in the boat. She always enjoyed a late night movie and staying up talking all hours of the night with anyone that would stay up with her. She would talk on the phone for as long as you wanted and was always willing to listen and give her thoughts on whatever problem you may have. Christmas was a special time for her to spend with family and to decorate gifts for each one. Entertaining her special brother Paul was always a joy and he looked forward to her calling him every night before he went to bed.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Earl Keith Brown, father Woodrow Rice, mother Narvell Rice, brother Learl Rice, sister Carolyn Rice, niece Kelly Dixon.
Linda is survived by her son and daughter in-law David and Leslie McElhannon of Greensboro, GA, sister in-law Sandra Rice of Tulsa, OK, brother and sister in-law Mark and Barbara Rice of Benton, AR, brother Paul Rice of Little Rock, AR, step children, Kendall Brown, Earl Jr Brown and Sandy Brown. Linda is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed but her memory will be cherished and her legacy will continue on through those who loved and cared for her throughout her life.
