Rita Irene Aldridge

Rita Irene Aldridge, of Windermere, Florida, died on June 5, 2020 at the age of 81 years from heart disease. Rita was born on November 2, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Charles W. and Rita L. Soxman.

Rita loved spending time with her grandchildren. Whether they were near or far, they brought great purpose and joy to her life. She was the proud mother of Valerie, Linda, Dave, and Jim.

Rita loved going for long car rides and spending time at the beach collecting seashells. She enjoyed listening to music as well. A few of her favorite artists were Barbra Streisand, The Carpenters, Anita Baker, and Frank Sinatra.

She leaves behind her youngest daughter, Valerie, her oldest daughter, Linda, her son-in-law, Nicholas, her twin sons, Dave and Jim, her daughter-in-laws, Pam and Linda. Her beloved grandchildren Madison, McKenzie, Christian, Hannah, and Jimmy.

Rita Irene Aldridge would like to be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who always put her children and grandchildren first.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5129 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, Florida 32819.
