John E. Kreitler of Barnhart, MO. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, he was born on January 21, 1933 in River Aux Vases, MO. and passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday September 22, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Bernadine Kreitler (nee Dallas); loving father of Brian (Michelle) Kreitler and Jeff (Laura) Kreitler; loving grandpa of Elizabeth (Michael) Stuesse, Jacob Kreitler, Kelsey (Stefan) Wilkes and Brianne Kreitler; dear son of the late John and Rose (nee Allgire) Kreitler; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
John was the owner of Kreitler Construction Company. He was a member of the Arnold Eagles, Elks, American Legion, VFW and the Mattise Club. John proudly served his country in the US Army.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 24, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday September 25, 2019, 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 6020 Old Antonio Rd. Imperial, MO. Interment St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Vitas Hospice 1487 US-61, Suite C. Festus, MO. 63028
