Dawn was a wonderful neighbour and friend. She often helped others like my mother, Pearl. When she was well she regularly spent time outside in the garden. Dawn was kind and loving and a role model for others. She will be missed by many. Condolences to your family.

Dawn was a wonderful person and I have many found memories of her at All Saints. Heaven has gained another angel and she truly earned her wings.

Our deepest condolences to the Ballard family on the passing of its matriarch. Andrea and I are saddened by the news of the passing of Dawn. The foundational legacy of those who shaped us continues in our lives as they move forward in memory and in tribute of those upon whom they were built. Courage.

To the Ballard “kids”: so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. She was one of the good ones. As a child growing up in that King City neighbourhood, I remember her smiles and kindness the most. As an adult, I remember how she would invite my kids over to play with Toto and have a snack while I cut the grass when my parents were away. Great neighbours and great memories; I hope that the memories you have will sustain you through this difficult time. God bless.

God bless you, Ms. Dawn, for your wonderful son Michael, whom I met through his Resiliency Facebook page. I am grateful for his unique gifts and the way he uses them, and although I never met you Ms. Dawn I know you will continue to live through him. I am not sad. I am grateful for you. May you rest in peace, in God's eternal embrace, in heaven, joyfully fulfilled in the perfection of our Creator. Amen.

So many memories over so many years!
Became friends in the early 70s when our family (Matthews) moved to Maple and became members of All Saints', King. Harry and Dawn were always there with a smile of greeting and an offer to help with whatever was needed. Dawn, you will be greatly missed!
Rest in Peace .. job well done!

We were very sad to hear of the passing of our Aunt Dawn. One of my personal happy childhood memories was visiting Aunt Dawn and Uncle Harry, ‘way up’ in King City. Aunt Dawn will be remembered for her giving nature and her warmth in always welcoming her nieces and nephews into her home.
RIP Aunt Dawn

To the Ballard family

Linda and I were saddened by the news of Dawn’s death. We are currently in New Jersey, visiting with Linda’s sister, so we will not be able to attend the funeral service next week.

We have know Dawn for over thirty years having arrived at All Saints’ in January 1989. We will cherish our many memories of her and Harry. Their kindness and support were unending. We will miss her smiling presence.

Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God’s loving presence surround you and uphold you all in the midst of your grief.

Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord.
Let light perpetual shine upon her.
May her soul rest in Peace and rise in glory.
