

NAUGLE, Floy Q., 89, passed away July 22, 2019 in Austin, Texas. Floy was born on January 27, 1930 in Stubblefield (Johnson County), Texas to Clyde Bell and John William Quattlebaum. Floy is preceded in death by her siblings, twin sister Joy, sister Martha and brother Max; her husband Russ, and her son, James Russell Naugle. Floy grew up on her family’s farm near Alvarado, attended Alvarado High School and Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX. She married Russell Cyril Naugle in 1950. Floy was a gifted seamstress, active in her church choir and the Beacon Bible Study group; she served as President of the Richardson Women’s Club 1971-72, and loved spending time with her friends and family. Floy is survived by her daughters Pamela Dempsey, Toni Price, Rebecca Jones, and five grandchildren, William Jones, Madeline Jones, Noel Price Perkins (husband Eric), Ben Naugle, and Jamie Naugle. She was our beautiful mom and “Granny”; strong and sassy and a fighter to the very end. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 11 a.m., at Spring Valley United Methodist Church, 7700 Spring Valley Road, Dallas, Texas.
