Joe Otto Rehfeld

Joe graduated from Austin High School in 1953. He then started his career at U.T. in Austin. He retired from there at the age of 55. While still working at U.T. Joe also started his own business in 1963. After retirement he devoted his full attention to growing House of Ribbons, which still exists today as the family business.

Joe is survived by his wife of 30 years, Frankie; Sister Hazel Eskew; Daughters Pam Hawkins and husband Jim; Sherry McColpin and husband Pat; and DeAnn Davis. Joe is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be having Memorial Services at 1pm on March 8, 2019 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills funeral home located at 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas 78750.
