Yvonne Marlyn Bower, age 86, of Barstow, California passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Yvonne was born October 27, 1934 in Sinia, South Dakota to Henry and Lila Anderson. Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband James Bower. She was a long time resident and business owner in the city of Barstow for 35 years. She was a member of the Barstow Women's Club. She devoted her life to her family and her community. Yvonne loved to get Starbucks, go shopping, dine at Los Domingos and spend time with her family. Yvonne was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her 3 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Yvonne will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311. A chapel service will occur Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Mt View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311.
