Brownie Jean Foster, age 86, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Monday January 6, 2020. She was born December 12, 1933 to the late Homer and Edna Jordan. Brownie graduated from Athens high school and had various clerical jobs but spent majority of her life being a homemaker. She was a loving wife and mother devoted to her family and enjoyed multiple hobbies.
Brownie is preceded in death by her siblings; Dorothy, JC, and Whitfield Jordan, Amaryaless Hagood and her nephew, Steven Hagood.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William Robert "Bob" Foster, their children, Deborah C. Hays (David), Arminda K. Campbell (Thomas), R. Daniel Foster (Pamela), John S. Foster, her sister, Betty Angel, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Brownie will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service will be Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow.
