Evelyn Tomlin Coco

Evelyn Mary Tomlin Coco passed away July 13, 2021, at the age of 94. She was born March 4, 1927, in Niagara Falls, NY, to Mary James Tomlin and Leonard H. Tomlin. She moved to Baton Rouge in her adolescence and attended Baton Rouge Junior High, Baton Rouge High School, Belhaven College, and LSU, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She married Rodney G. Coco on April 30, 1949. Evelyn was an active member of First Presbyterian Church for all of her years in Baton Rouge. She was also an avid bridge player, crossword puzzle solver, and member of Chapter E, P.E.O. Evelyn is survived by her three children, Mary Carolyne Coco, Leonard Tomlin Coco and James David Coco, all of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Chapter E, P.E.O. at P.O. Box 1425, St. Francisville, LA 70775.
