Veta Anthony

Veta Anthony, 79, of Beaumont, passed away on April 29, 2019 in Beaumont. Veta was born April 8, 1940 in Huntsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; Clifton and Fannie McGee, husband; James Anthony, and twin sister; Rita Okervall.

Veta was the owner and operator of Sno-Biz in Beaumont for 27 years. She was also a loving wife, girlfriend, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her step mother; Evelyn McGee of Kyle, companion of 19 years Richard Rothenberger, son; Clif Anthony and wife Wendi of Austin, daughter; Jamie Dunnigan of Lumberton, brother; Sonny McGee of Sheppard, step sisters; Catherine Riche and husband Jim of Hammond, Louisiana, Nancy Crowell and husband David of Kyle, grandchildren; Derek Anthony of Austin, Christian Anthony of Austin, Courtney Davis and husband Caleb of Frisco, Kayla Hunt and husband Cade of Buna, Halie Jenny of Lumberton, Canton Dunnigan of Lumberton, and expected first great grandchild; Walker Hunt.

A sharing of Veta’s life will be held Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.

A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with a burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
