Lois graduated class valedictorian at Roosevelt High School in Seattle. She also taught accordion, which is how she met Gene. Along with her joy of music, Lois was deeply caring and giving, making guests feel welcome when they entered her home. Her tasty cooking was enjoyed by family and friends. If they were lucky they would be treated to a slice of one of her homemade pies. A wonderful home maker, Lois also was a Real Estate Agent which led to purchasing land overlooking Oceanside, Oregon. Lois and Gene helped complete a round house which brought them much happiness. Together they also shared a lifelong joy of gardening.
Lois is survived and cherished by her remaining twin daughter, Wendy, and son in law Ernie, and daughter in law Nancy Hesselman, her grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Erin and Rian and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as her brother John Stuber in Novato California.
Lois spent her last 2 years at Farmington Square Extended Care Facility in Beaverton.
