Paula Jo Honaker, 68 years of age, passed away at home on Friday, March 8, 2019 after a long courageous fight with cancer. Born on October 15, 1950 in Beckley, WV, Paula was the daughter of the late James and Datas Warden. Paula was a retired nurse at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital with 27 years of service. She was a member of North Beckley Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur D. Warden. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Danny Honaker; sons, Daniel Honaker and wife, Kellie, and Stephen Honaker and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Andrew and Nicole Honaker; great-grandson, Kody James Honaker; sister, Donna Warden; brother, Larry Warden and wife, Patty; a host of nieces and nephews that include, Scott and his wife, Wendy and their son, Jace, Adam and his wife, Deb, Kelley and her husband, Shane and their children, Evan and Reese, Kacie and her husband, Kyle, and Seth and Jeff; cousin, Page; and her closest friends, Belinda, Susie, Alma Jo, Jean Bennett, and Raymona.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Preacher James Richard Warden officiating. Entombment will follow in the Peace Mausoleum of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Honoring her as pallbearers are Daniel Honaker, Stephen Honaker, Larry Warden, Bobby Tolliver, Andrew Honaker, Steven McCallister, and Nicole Honaker.
