Billy Monroe Bearden of McCalla, age 74 died September 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and four sisters. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 35 years, Betty Mize Bearden, several nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a man of many interests until his illness. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, followed by graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
