Isaiah Robert Bueno passed away July 12, 2020 in Caldwell, Idaho. Isaiah was born on January 3, 1999 in Redwood City, California. He moved to Dixon at the age of 5. He and his grandfather were extremely close. It was his lifetime dream to go and live with his Grandpa Roger and within a few months of him turning 18 he was off to Idaho with his dog Chewy.
When Isaiah was in kindergarten he was gifted a Vizsla puppy from his uncle’s litter. Out of all the names a boy could think of he chose ChewyChomp. Isaiah and Chewy spent the next seventeen years growing up together. They truly were the best of friends and did everything together including skateboard riding around town, they enjoyed swimming, eating, sleeping, watching Zombie movies together on the couch; you name it. Wherever Isaiah was; Chewy was too! He was extremely passionate about his music. There was not a moment that would go by that he was not listening to some tune or another, singing, tapping, or learning to play the song on the drums. He had many favorite bands, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Creedence, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Depeche Mode, Morrissey, Calabrese. The list could go on forever. He was an avid 49er fan, he loved Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz where his dad taught him how to surf and instead of walking or driving around town many of you can remember seeing him skateboarding all over the place.
Isaiah was preceded in death by his best friend ChewyChomp. He is survived by his mother Amanda Kostenko, father Rob (Amy) Bueno, brother Gabriel Dominguez, sister Draven Bueno, god brother Ryder Rigolfi, Grandpa Roger and John, Noni Carol (Eric) Nelson, uncles Robert and Jeffrey (Denise) Kostenko, aunts Cherie Ochoa Bueno, Lisa Bueno, Leanna Bueno, Angela Bueno, great aunts, cousins, and will forever be missed by many.
The family gathered for a Celebration of Isaiah’s Life in January of 2021 at Francis “Kelly” Beach in Half Moon Bay. On July 12, 2021 Amanda, Rob, and close friends and family spent the day at the beach remembering Isaiah. We hope to continue this tradition year after year and welcome all who would like to join us.
