Life is unfair, everybody kind of knows that. But when one of the best and the brightest leaves us like that, we know that life is not fair to us as well depriving us of Greg, the fun and pleasure of his company. I've known him for only about 5 years, not long at all, but we became friendly, spending time with the same group of old boys. We were planning to get together, and he texted me a week ago. Please call, nothing urgent. I did call him, but I couldn't get together last week. I thought there was nothing urgent. How wrong...
Our heartfelt condolences to those who will miss Greg the most - Ella and the children.

I extend my sincere sympathies to the Zaslavsky family on the passing of Gregory. I worked with him at Osram Sylvania for over fifteen years and can attest that he was an energetic, creative engineer. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to the Zaslvaskys. Greg and I worked together in SYLVANIA as managers in the central research group. Greg was a pragmatic, disciplined process guy...no question! I appreciated his abilities to translate the improbable into the possible. His passing is way to soon! May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Greg’s family. He was way too young to pass, but it may be a comfort to know that he influenced many people’s lives in a positive way. I knew Greg at Sylvania and can attest to his unique, innovative genius. I don’t believe there was any engineer at Central Research more productive than he and more successful at bringing his many ideas into production. He was an ‘ideas’ guy but he didn’t have his head in the clouds, he didn’t stop until his ideas were realized in production, creating new jobs for people. It was an honor to know him, an honor to work with him.
