Norma was born in Paterson, New Jersey on April 10, 1926 to Joseph and Jessie Barbaris. In 1941, she married Edward A. Ciaburri and at her passing they would have been married 77 years.
Norma is survived by her children Bonnie Hickman (Roger) of Princeton, WV, Edward Ciaburri of Henderson, NV, Michael Ciaburri (Debbie) of St. Simons Island, GA, Brad Ciaburri (Sue) of Bluefield, VA, and Nancy Dean (Rob) of St. Simons Island, GA, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Norma was a strong woman devoted to her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. She was a wonderful homemaker with a passion for baking, golf and an avid sports fan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Williams Catholic Church, St Simons Island, GA with Monsignor John Kenneally officiating. Burial will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest by her husband.
Family to receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
