Fidenzio Fregolent

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather Fidenzio Fregolent. Fidenzio was born in Susegana, Treviso Italy on September 15, 1934 and passed away on January 12, 2022 at Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his wife Settimia of 54 years. He will be greatly missed by his only daughter Margi (Al), granddaughters Kimberly and Melissa (Sam), all five of his surviving sisters Vilma, Maria, Valeria, Adriana, and Luigina, and many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, and Australia. Nonno, you worked hard all your life and suffered greatly over the past many months, may you now rest peacefully in heaven with Nonna. His family would like to thank his many doctors, nurses, and care aides both in the hospital and in the community for all their care and support over the last few difficult years of his life. A visitation will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home on Thursday, January 27th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish on Friday, January 28th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The Mass will be followed by a private entombment. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are mandatory at the church and funeral home. In order to respect social distancing, there will be no condolence line at the church, but the family extends their thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
