To Don, Ryan and Laura,
I am so sorry to know that Pat has recently passed away. After your move to Langley we lost touch but I remember her as such a kind, caring person.
She was so welcoming to us when we moved to Canada and I felt that I had a family in BC even though my family were so far away.
I am so sad for your loss as I know Pat was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Please reach out to me if you need any support.

I first met Pat in the early seventies when she worked as a nurse in Darlington. Little did I know at that time our friendship would span over forty years and she would be a huge influence in my life.
She was a true friend and we shared many wild and crazy moments and problems.
Quite by chance I found a quote from The Prophet which we often shared and I know she loved.
For what it is to die,
But to stand in the sun and melt into the wind?
And when the earth has claimed our limbs,
Then we shall truly dance.

I have great memories of Pat, meeting her through another friend. I had a pleasure of doing her hair but it went beyond that and I got to meet the whole family and a wonderful friendship flourished. My deepest sympathy to Don and dear Laura and Ryan. My thoughts and prayers to all of you that loved our dear Pat.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother.
Pat and I worked together on Maternity in Victoria. She was a good friend with a kind heart and the ability to make me laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her.

When I met Pat she was wearing her cap. It was about 48 years ago, and we became the best of friends instantly. Over the years we moved apart and started families but we always kept in touch. Pat was such a blessing to every life she touched, and I’m going to miss her so much. Our times together over the last 8 months have been a gift I’ll cherish forever. I love you Patti.
Don, Ryan, Laura and family, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
