I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Addinall family find comfort and strength in Jesus promise along with our heavenly father Jehovah of the earthly resurrection, where death will be eliminated forever. Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie!

I got to know Tom when I worked at the Airdrie Legion, and volunteered with 88 Airdrie Lynx Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets. I loved his dry British sense of humour!
I invited him to come and watch the Cadets parade, which tickled him no end. I made a point of popping into the Lounge side of the Legion when it came time for final Parade, and escorted him around to our small parade hall.
When we had our Remembrance Day services at Genesis Place, I always made a point of looking for Tom in the crowd of dignitaries, and brought my son, who was one of the officers with the Squadron to come and meet him. I always got a hug and a peck on the cheek.
My husband was employed at the Calgary Co-Op liquor store, and when he got to meet Tom, they made arrangements to see that Tom was informed whenever Tom's favourite Copper Moon Shiraz was on sale, and I let Tom know on Cadet night.
He was a remarkable individual, and I will really miss him and that smile.

My sympathies to your family.
