The legacy of Stella will remain close to my heart. I remember the first time I met Stella, it was the once-over —. “Let me see your hair”, and she looked at me and approved. “Whew,”. “let me see what you are wearing”! (That was okay too, 😊). From that day on, I became a big part of her life. I am grateful for the lasting memories. Through laughter and tears, she embraced me and treated me like part of the family, introducing me to her friends as “her other daughter”. I think she had that grace about her to make other people feel good about themselves. There were so many special moments shared over the time I’ve known her from lunches, to special suppers, to celebrations, to visits to gardening, to telephone chats — these I realize now we’re very special moments in time. I will miss you Stella so very much. Loved you dearly and will keep you close to my heart!
Love forever, Gretta xox

I wanted to give my condolences to the family.
The loss of a loved one no matter what age is always difficult.
Vince Gil wrote a song for his brother, I'd like to share the chorus.
"Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a shouting, love for the father and the son. "
R.I.P. Stella
My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

A kind soul who will have a special place in Heaven. She was always the first to offer prayerful support for anyone in need and had a faith that I envied. Will miss dropping to see her at Fairview. Rest in well deserved peace Stella!
