She was born June 17, 1937 in Carbondale, daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Takach) Gorel.
Marie was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic church, she enjoyed her family, friends and mostly being a Grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank J. Scotchlas, of Camp Hill, daughter, Kathleen Hester her husband Donny, and grandson Colin of Camp Hill.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and beloved sister in laws.
Funeral service will be 11:30AM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St. Camp Hill, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
