We have fond memories of Floyd performing at Serious Coffee. He had a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is now rejoicing in His presence.

We met Floyd and his young family then, in the early 80s. We saw a dedicated and loving man, father, friend, beautiful musician who had servant's heart in action. Floyd had the biggest heart and he shared it with all those he met! Two words come to mind when we think of Floyd -- HE LOVED. We were thrilled when he and Linda married - their love and eyes shined with happiness. We are so sad for the family and myriad of friends, at the earthy loss of Floyd. God bless you all and may our Lord wrap His arms of love around each one of you. One day, we shall be reunited in heaven and every tear will be wiped away. Thank you Floyd.

I met Floyd in 1978 when we were mining at Myra falls. I worked with him and he worked for me as a miner. When you went into his place of work it was always a pleasure. his sense of humor, his undying faith, his willing to help others.
If ever there was a man to enter the kingdom of God with great cheering it would be Floyd . From Tom T Hall ( I know that the good Lord likes a little pickin to)
You have fought the good fight

Nephew Floyd was a man of great faith ,a loving caring person. His talent was to play, sing and minister to people showing love and, encouragement to young and old alike. His humor brightened hearts and, brought hope to many. Floyd was like a brother to Thomas and I there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for people to help out. His family meant so much to him. He fought a good fight right to the very last breath. The wonderful memories he left us will last forever . Never forget the times we were together with Floyd and Linda.
