Norma Estellene Allgood

Norma passed away June 3, 2019 in Van, TX.

She was born August 27, 1931 in Meadow, TX to Henry Newman and Mabel Wilhoit.

Norma grew up in West Texas before receiving her teaching degree from Hardin Simmons University. She married Doyle Johnson and the two lived all over the country while he was in the Navy. Norma settled down in East Texas. She enjoyed playing piano, fishing and working puzzles. She was a member of Turner Baptist Church.

Norma is survived by her Daughters: Darla & Bruce Williams, Dee Anne & Danny Brunson, and Dana & Roger Keck; 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; Sister, Ganelle & James Hampton; and Sister, Karen & Gerald Hunt.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Henry & Mabel Newman; Husband, Doyle Johnson; and Brother, Wendell Newman.
