Mrs. Bettie Melton, age 74, of Marion, Alabama passed away on Monday September 16, 2019. She was born on October 23, 1944 to Hester and Eldon Cooper in Vance, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Melton; Two sisters, Vera Cooper, Nell Goad and her parents. She is survived by two sons, Bo Melton(Kathy) of Pine Level, AL and Jimmy Melton(Pam) of Slap Out, AL; Four daughters, Sue England(Mike) of Marion Junction, AL, Diane Phelps of Heiberger, AL, Linda Tucker(Mike) of Heiberger, AL and Gail Cochran(Ron) of Northport, AL; One brother, Wayne Cooper(Dianna) of Conway, MO; Eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Bettie Melton will be Sunday at 2PM here at the funeral home chapel with a visitation from 1PM - 2PM. Graveside Service will be located at Johntown Cemetery immediately following the service.
