Jean Shows, age 79, of Centreville, Alabama entered into rest on Saturday June 8, 2019 at Hospice of West Alabama. Jean was born on July 11, 1939 to Raymond Chapman and Mary Elizabeth Latham Chapman. She is survived by her son, Arion Smith(Denise) of Centreville; daughters, Diane McCrory(Jimmy) of Sawyerville and Debra "Dee" LaGrone(Lee) of Centreville; daughter in law, Lisa Smith of Centreville; grandchildren, Adrian, Jamie, Josh, Jessica, Maria, Trevor, Todd, Brianna, Kayla, Amanda and Nathan; 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Smith; her parents, Raymond and Mary Chapman; brothers, Rudie V. Chapman and Ronald Chapman; sister, Estelle Smith.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, AL and Monday, June 10, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Enon Baptist Cemetery, Hwy 25, Centreville.
