She is survived by her sons, Dr. Edward Dalton Brown, Jr.(Vickie) of Brent, Stephen Anthony Brown(Sherry) of Randolph, and Kenneth Wade Brown(Cindy) of Randolph; sisters, Myrtice Peek and Carolyn Smitherman; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Edward Dalton Brown, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Polly Oakley, Lois Vanderberg, Bob McCrary; brothers, Mabry Whaley and Aubry Whaley.
Minnie Brown was a member of Randolph Baptist Church. She was a faithful church member and devoted to her community. She loved gardening, cooking, singing, and spending time with her family. Two of the most important events in her life was the birth of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
