Johanna Nieves Davila

April 29th, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Marcelo A. Davila; son, Alfonso M. Davila,

daughter, Valeria M. Davila, all of Springfield, step-daughter, Jimena M. Davila and

grandchildren Subhan and Seyhan Wardack of Ashburn, Virginia and Soraya Davila. . Also surviving are her

brothers, Henry Bascope of Chantilly, VA, Gary Bascope of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Hugo and Miguel

Bascope of Cochabamba, Bolivia; sisters Estela and Mery Bascope also from Cochabamba,

Bolivia.

Mrs. Davila was an assistant manager at The Fresh Market in Alexandria, VA. She was known to

be a very hardworking, selfless and loving woman both in and out of the workplace. Always

willing to help others with a heart as kind as it was big. There are not enough words to describe

the impact she left, but in short she was very loved by her family, many friends and all those

lucky enough to have met her.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 11th at 5:30 pm at St. Bernadette Catholic Church

(7600 Old Keene Mill Rd) in Springfield. All are welcomed to come and celebrate her life.
