Norma Spates

Norma is survived by her sons, Jamie Spates; and Gary Spates (Joannie); daughter, Cathy Spates Roberson; brother, Jimmy Parrish (Kathy), sisters, Daphne Grubb (Paul) and Joan Bryant; grandchildren, Aimee, April, Tonya, Justin, Parrish, Chris, Kirsten, Doug, and Joseph, and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Spates; parents, Mavis Irene and John Roy Parrish; brothers, John Raymond "Bo" Parrish; Charles Edward "Chuck" Parrish; and Stephen Roy "Pete" Parrish and sister, Vivian Parrish White.

A visitation for Norma will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vincent Revival Center, 6121 Co. Rd. 85, Vincent, Alabama 35178, with a funeral service to occur Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Vincent Revival Center, with burial to follow at the Harpersville City Cemetery. Pastor Jason Allums will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers are, Justin Spates, Parrish Spates, Dylan Foster, Douglas Bowman, Landon Baker and Eric Wessler.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Music Ministries at the Vincent Revival Center.
