Eric passed away peacefully at home at the age of 96.

He was born and raised in the Camp River area of Chilliwack and was the youngest of three sons born to Henry John and E. Theresa Creber.

He was predeceased by his brothers Roy, Harold, son-in-law Lloyd, and Audrey, his wife of 62 years.

Eric is survived by his three sons, Ron (Barb), Neil (Linda), Alan and daughter Anne. Grandsons Eric, David, and Jeff Creber; Scott, Stephen and Sheldon Girbav; Granddaughters' Chelsea, Chantel, Carey and Melissa Creber, and six great grandchildren.

Eric was a proud WWll Veteran joining the RCAF in 1942. While on a short combat leave in 1943 he met his beloved Audrey in Brandon, Manitoba and were married in June 1946 settling in the post war VLA subdivision on Bernard Ave. In 1958 the family moved to a 15 acre farm on McSween Road followed by the move in 1965 to the Camp River farm he purchased from his uncle Russell Creber. He was employed for many years as a Machinist at C.R. Fortin and Sons. Later opening up his own machine shop on the Camp River family farm. Farming had always been in his blood and while he was working as a machinist, Audrey and the children were busy manning the farm crops haying corn, cucumbers and the beef cattle. He and Audrey did some travelling in their later years enjoying cruises to warmer destinations as well as an Alaskan cruise. Probably the most special to Dad, was the road trip in 1995 that took them across Canada to Yarmouth N.S. to attend his 50th RCAF Squadron reunion. He was so trilled to reunite with his RCAF comrades.

At Dad's request, there will be no service. Dad's ashes will be united with mom's at their resting place in the Mt. Shannon Anglican Cemetery. A gathering of family and close friends will take place at a later date.
