Cynthia Lou Thompson

1949-2018

After a protracted battle with Kidney Cancer, Cynthia Lou Thompson, went to sleep peacefully on August 17, in Clearwater, FL at the age of 69. Cindy was surrounded by her family. Born on June 21, 1949 in Quincy, Illinois.

Cindy enjoyed walks on the beach looking for shells. She loved to spend time with her friends, family and grandkids. She was also an active volunteer for Hospice for 5 years.

Cindy leaves behind her 4 daughters: Shelley Kelly, Tammy Fetterman (Jason), Rebecca Hunt-Branch (Alex) and Wendy Spade (Rick). Grandmother of Leah Eby-May, Jake Kelly, Olivia Spade, Ryan Fetterman, Jack Fetterman and Brynnlee Hunt-Branch. Aunt to Heather Thompson. Cindy was the daughter of the late Joe and Frances Thompson. Dear sister of the following deceased; Larry and William Thompson.

Her ashes will be interred with her late brothers at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, MI. The family would like to thank Moffitt Cancer Center with a special thank you to Dr. Jingsong Zhang MD, PhD & Mark J. Honor, PA-C for their constant, attentive treatment. Visiting Angels, for their loving care and the National Cremation Society, for making the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The family has chosen to have a private funeral service.
