Born March 23, 1927, in Canonsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Dallas Duane Henderson and the late Hilda Augusta Stewart-Henderson.
He served during WWII as a Seabee in the United States Navy receiving an honorable discharge. Before moving to Florida he worked as a truck mechanic in New Jersey.
Neal and Lois were married in 1950 for 46 years prior to Lois’s passing. In 1973 Neal and Lois moved to Largo, Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Mae Doenges Henderson, Largo, Florida, his daughter, Linda Lou Henderson McKee, Dade City, Florida and his brother, Dallas Elton Henderson, Ohio
Surviving are his son Lawrence Henderson, Clearwater, Florida and three daughters, Sharon Henderson Draper, Lutz, Florida, Darla June Henderson Leone, Pompton Plains, NJ and Donna Jo Henderson Thompson, Pompton Lake, NJ., five granddaughters, three grandsons, ten great granddaughters, and seven great grandsons and his sister, Beula Henderson Woodruff, Washington, PA.
Celebration of life will be held later on.
