Dalton, a native of Long Beach CA, lived most of his life in Fresno with his wife Yvonne Garrison. Dalton retired after a 36 year career with Fresno Unified. At FUSD he was Teacher, Principal and Administrator. He made countless friendships throughout his career, many that still exist today. Dalton and Yvonne relocated to the central coast after their retirement.
Dalton was also a military man. Having had a deep respect for the service he enlisted in the army at an early age and later began a 40 year career in the Coast Guard earning the rank of Commander where he influenced many lives and made lasting friendships.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 45 years Yvonne.
He is survived by his children. Dan and Raina Garrison, Kathy and Keith Duket, Patricia Garrison and Don Westbrook and Laurie and Doug Cook. Grandchildren, Gray and Amelia Garrison, Keith Duket Jr. (Sandra), Stephen Garrison (Desiree), Jeremy Dodd, and Stephanie McClymond. Great-grandchildren Madison and Jack Garrison and Hunter Wade and Christopher Gage Willen. He is also survived by his first wife Carrie Garrison.
Dalton was loved by his family and his many friends. His loss will be felt deeply and his presence greatly missed. Daltons memory lives on in the hearts of his children.
