Adelene V. Cobb

Adelene Vivian Cobb, 109, of Colorado Springs, passed away October 3, 2019. She was born in Brushy, Texas on April 24, 1910. Adelene graduated from Colorado Springs High School, and married Ward S. Cobb on September 7, 1942.

Adelene worked for Dr. Charles Foxx Gardiner before marriage, and later for Sinton Dairy. She was a member of Security Church of the Nazarene and had a passion for music. She played the violin and was a church pianist for 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter Sheryl Bentley (David); her grandchildren David Bentley Jr (Heidi), Nathan Bentley (Opal) and Kara Ziegler (Casey), 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday October 9 at Swan Law.
