Alice Prine Broom

Mrs. Broom was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Hershell Broom; a son, Joey Broom; parents, Leroy Prine and Edna Randall Prine; sisters, Meryl Hollis, and Rita Prine; and brother, Wayne Prine. She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lott (Joe) of Hattiesburg, MS; three sons, Sidney Broom (Debra), and Mark Broom (Dianne), both of Columbia, and Rodney Broom (Jeriann) of Florence, MS; seven grandchildren, Dewayne Broom, Brittlee Broom, Cory Broom, Hayley Blansett, Lauren Gerlach, Cade Lott, and Christa Lott; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and funeral services on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM all at Faithway Baptist Church, Columbia. Brother Joe Lott and Brother Brent Robbins will preside over services and interment will follow in the church cemetery assisted by Jet Broom, Rance Broom, Tim Broom, Cade Lott, Allen Cox, Sammy Broom, Clay Burge, and Stewart Walley serving as pallbearers.
