Letha Aultman Castilaw

Letha Aultman Castilaw, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence at the age of 96. She was born in Marion County where she has remained a lifelong resident. In her earlier years, Letha enjoyed working in her yard and later, mastered the art of cross-stitch. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Letha will be remembered for her strong work ethic.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Aultman and Pat Castilaw; a daughter, Vernell Graham; a son, George Aultman, Jr.; and two sisters and two brothers. Letha is survived by a daughter, Pearl Burleson (James); a son Randall Aultman (Beth); five grandchildren, Albert Stewart (Angel), Michael Stewart (Rosie), Dustyn Aultman (Sarah), Elizabeth Watson, and Hunter Aultman; eight great-grandchildren, Abrey Stewart, Cortlan Stewart, Nicholas Bynum, Corey Ray, Ford Aultman, Holt Aultman, Paxton Waters, and Tucker Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Letha’s honor to Good Hope Baptist Church WMA.

The funeral service, officiated by Brother Johnny Williams, will be at the graveside in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00am.
