Mrs Donna (Ducky Doodle) Elene Tamblyn Reis

Donna Tamblyn Reis, age 66, resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Graveside services will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Alabama on Thursday, July 19, 2018, 10 a.m. with Pastor David Rathel officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 5-7 p.m.

Mrs. Reis, daughter of the late Thomas Tamblyn and Mary Tamblyn, was born March 27, 1952 in Jefferson, Alabama. She was a talented artist, loved writing, but mostly loved her children, grandchildren, and her Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Reis was preceded in death by two sons, Oscar Michael Loosier and Thomas Joseph Loosier; and a brother, Matt Tamblyn. She is survived by her husband, Richard Reis; a daughter, Loy Prothro; a son, Jonathan Loosier; stepdaughter, Rachel Reis Obermeyer; granddaughters, Alyssa Michele Allex, Ansley Lyn Allex, Emily Anne Obermeyer; a brother, Dan Tamblyn; and a sister, Becky Nichols.
