Joann Herbeck, 71, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. A Funeral mass will be held at The Church of the Holy Family on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:00AM. Joann will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 20,2022 at 11:00AM.
Born on February 11,1951, in Caney, KS, to the late, Clifford Thornton and Myrtle Thornton. Joann moved to Monterey, California where she met the love of her life, Robert W. Herbeck. She enjoyed puzzles, puzzle games and was a lover of animals. Joann was a very loving and kind woman. She loved helping take care of her grandchildren. Joann belonged to the Association of the Miraculous Medal.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Myrtle Thornton; her husband, Robert W. Herbeck.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Misty Rogers; son, Robby Herbeck; grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Rogers.
