Byrd E. Jones, 70 of Columbus, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was born November 3, 1942 in Point Pleasant, WV to the late Dora and Clara (Crawford) Jones. He was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. He was retired from Roadway Trucking and Teamsters Local #413. He enjoyed the outdoors and tinkering. He is preceded in death by his son Sammy Lee and 3 brothers Charles, Roger and Bud. He is survived by Jean, his loving wife of 39 years, children Gene (Tonya Morris) Jones, Steven Jones and Deeanna (Tony) Hazen, grandchildren Brady Jones, Carter Hazen, Madelyne Hazen and Celia Hazen and brother Tom (Diane) Jones.
