Mabel B. Thompson

Mabel B. Thompson, age 99, of Gahanna, formerly of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Mabel was born on July 24, 1910 in Hickman, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Josephine Baxter; who preceded her in death. Mabel is also preceded in death by her husband, Olin Harvey Thompson; and sisters, Margaret, Alice, Edna, Lucille and Josephine. Mabel was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Butler. She was a very caring mother and a hard worker at anything she put her mind to. She enjoyed, sewing, needlework and working in her garden. Mabel is survived by her children, Walter (Cassaundra) Thompson and Lennah Thompson; grandchildren, Paul, Dale, Michael and Beth; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Mondine. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 11am-12pm at Beinhauer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler, Pennsylvania.
