Elvira G. Salazar

She was married to Jose T. Salazar. Elvira was a homemaker. She loved fishing, camping and gardening and mostly she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose T. Salazar; maternal grandparents; Benito Trevino Vargas and Mary Lopez Vargas; parents Abraham Garcia and Eloisa Vargas; paternal grandparents, Juan Garcia and Apolonia Renedez Garcia; siblings, Anselma (Chema) G. Hernandez, Leonor G. Salazar and Abraham Garcia, Jr.; her children, Joe Salazar, Jr., and Frank Salazar.

She is survived by her children; Josie “Chita” Figueroa (Eloy), Linda Salazar Rodela, Margie S. Rodriguez of Modesto CA., Henry Salazar, Abel Salazar (Rosa), Janie S Garcia (Ruben), Audelia S. Garcia (Raul) and Mary Ann Salazar (Miguel); She also leaves behind to cherish her memories numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Memory Gardens that same evening.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Chapel with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
