Marion spent her life caring for family and friends, she loved to cook, play cards, bridge, golfing and
bingo. Anyone who came to our home were welcomed, and the first question asked was “are you
hungry, sit down and have a cup of tea”. Our home was always full of laughter and music. Mom
married Dad (Lewis) in 1946, they were married for 58 years. Dad joined the Air Force in Nova Scotia
and he was transferred to Chatham, NB, from there we ended up in the Comox Valley. They made
many friends here and loved BC, so here we are 53 years later. Mom and Dad loved to go dancing and
when they waltzed together, everyone loved to watch them gliding around the dance floor.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Lewis S. Zinck, her parents Eileen and Robert Roberts, sisters
Hazel and Doris and brothers Laurie and Bobby.
