Tomikia Yvonne Robertson was born February 20, 1968, in Dallas, Texas. She was a graduate of Skyline High School, class of 1986. She went on to attend Prairie View A&M University. She pursued a career in the insurance industry, holding various positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield, UT Southwestern, and Premier Health Solutions.
She accepted Christ, and faithfully attended the Concord Church of Dallas, Texas. Tomikia had a vibrant, personable, and loving spirit. In her spare time she loved coordinating events such as baby showers, weddings, and birthdays. Tomikia will be remembered for her unique taste in fashion. She loved to laugh and capture every moment with a smile. She was a loving devoted Wife, Mother, Daughter, and Friend.
Tomikia leaves a legacy of love, peace, and cherished memories with her husband, Darrin Robertson, Sr.; two sons, Austin and Alan Drake; stepson, Darrin Robertson, Jr.; parents, Terry and Agnes Draper and Richard Carter; one uncle, Ellie Hue Hobbs II (Nettie); one nephew, Donte Fulton (Zesley); three god sisters, Shirley Maiden, Gwendolyn McClarety, and Karren Jackson; mother-in-law, Nerline Smith; two brothers-in-law, Manzell Robertson (Denise), Roderick Robertson; one sister-in-law, Ursula Eppenger (Ryan); and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Latonya Pearson.
