

Jerry Allen Parks age 80, passed away at his residence on May 23, 2026 surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on July 6, 1945 in St. Charles, Virginia to parents Roy and Helen Cauley (Williams) Parks who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is a sister-in-law Anita Parks and a brother-in-law Neil Sizer.
Surviving Jerry is his loving wife Deborah B. (Morter) Parks, daughter Lisa Eleanor (Parks) Green and her fiancé Les Lairson. Grandchildren, Michael Allen Green, Emily Alexandra (Austin) Knox; precious beloved great grandchild, Ellis Austin Knox; brothers, Kenneth Lee (Mary Jane) Parks and Randall Wayne Parks; sister, Shirley Ruth Sizer; and step-son Nathan Daniel (Ashley) Acuff. Jerry is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Also, one very special set of twins which were Jerry’s favorite playmates; Nolan Matthew Truax and Julia Christine Truax.
Jerry served his country in the US Army and was a proud veteran. He was a toolmaker for General Motors and was a man of faith, and a practical man who loved his family above all else. He was immeasurably loved by Deborah and his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him and experienced life with Jerry.
A Visitation will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45429, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at the same location with Pastor Winson Wagner presiding. Burial will take place on June 2, 2026, at 1:30 pm at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points, Centerville, OH 45458.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of Your Choice in Jerry’s name.
The family invites all to attend a Celebration of Life following the services at the VFW Post #3438, The Hammond Memorial Post, 5441 Marina Drive, West Carrollton, Ohio 45449.
