I always was a loner; It didn't mean I didn't care. You accepted me for who I was and you were always there. Those of you who cared for me, you are forever friends. We will laugh and play again; true friendship never ends. Surviving years of cancer, I just didn't have more fight. Loved ones came to see me and I joined them in the light. Dad was first to greet me but had tears in his eyes; He said "you are here with me, so I know your mom cries." So much to see, so much to do, so many places to go. It is so perfect everywhere; eventually you will know. I know you are hurting and we didn't say goodbye; know my heart is with you, so please try not to cry. I've always been a spirit that chose to wander free I hope you will smile each time you think of me.

With broken hearts, may you rest in peace Randy

I was excited to see Randy still had his trophy from the 1970 Preble County Pioneer Days Parade. He and Jimmy Nave rode unicycles the entire parade while dressed in clown costumes. We also found the picture and his unicycle. These 3 items seem so insignificant, but the memories are priceless. They represent simpler times, community events, summer fun, hidden talents, smiles and youth. It made me smile and cry realizing how young and healthy Randy was. Randy went through a lot during those next 50 years. No matter how many times he moved, or what he was going through, these items remained important to Randy. And we will smile when we think of them...and Randy!
