Alton Albert Graumann, 79, passed away on November 27, 2017 at Hospice Quality Care in Midwest City, OK surrounded by his loving family. Born October 19, 1938 in Hobart, OK to Albert O. And Shirley M. (Howl) Graumann. Alton was the oldest child of four sisters.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air National Guards for many years. He was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Midwest City, OK until his health decline. Alton was a gifted welder who designed wonderful things such as smokers, fireplaces, and charcoal grills. In his past time, he enjoyed working on cars, collecting guns, playing the guitar, and fishing. Spending time with his family, he treasured the most.
Alton is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Shirley Graumann, sister Evelyn Jones, and his dog Jumper. He is survived by his son Lee Graumann and wife Tamara; daughter Debra Graumann; sisters Linda Middaugh and husband Bob, Pat Graumann, Janice Barnard and husband John; grandchildren Derrik Graumann, Randy Graumann, and Patrick Graumann; his dogs Timber and Missy along with a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Quality Care for their excellent and compassionate care of Alton and their family.
