Joseph “Joe” Henri Lucien Lefebvre, age 90, of Whitesburg, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was born September 25, 1930 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He grew up in Lawrence and was a very patriotic man. He served his country as a Veteran of the U.S. Army from 1949 until 1954. In 1954, while stationed at Ft. McPherson, Joe fell in love with the Georgia area and a “Georgia Peach”. He has made Georgia his home ever since. Joe loved baseball and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. As a horologist, he loved making and repairing clocks until his sight began to fail him. Joe was a proud member of the Teamsters Local Union #728. In his spare time, he enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Paul and Antoinette (Landry) Lefebvre; brothers, Fernand E. Lefebvre, Paul Lefebvre, Jr., Roland Lefebvre and Maurice Lefebvre; and sister, Gabrielle Arsenault.

Those left to cherish his memory are his Georgia Peach, who was the love of his life, Shirley Lefebvre; a son, Joseph Anthony “Tony” Lefebvre; a daughter, Allison Brannock; sisters, Germaine Travis, Lucille Cavanaugh and Yvonne Mulcahy; brother, Robert Lefebvre; grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Miller, Kristine Brannock (Gerald Scott) and Matthew Brannock; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Ryder; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members.
