Albert C Wienke

Albert Carl Wienke, age 85, of Mokena, Illinois passed away March 2, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Ellen; brothers Ernest and Frank; sister Eleanore Wienke Cameron; brother-in-law Harry Neumann. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, sons Michael(Tracey) and Steven; daughter Laura(Mark) Hubatch; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Kimberly, Anna, Sarah and William; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Kayleigh; sister-in-law Donna Neumann; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Raymond and Jan Neumann; many nieces and nephews and many special friends. Albert was a devoted, loving husband to Patricia for 58 years. Albert worked as an R&D Engineer for Continental Can Company, retiring in 1997. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. Albert was a dedicated Illinois High School Association swimming official for 25 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing many different courses. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 14th, at 9:30 AM, at St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church, 17500 South 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois, where a visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 9:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Albert's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
