Predeceased by her daughter Shirley (in infancy), daughter Carla, and husband Ed, Eva is survived by sons Eric, Glen, and David and their families; siblings Robert (Bob) Coe, John Coe, and Edna Helwing and their families, and many extended family members, including cousin Laurel McLaughlin, whose friendship she cherished. Eva was a devoted mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She delighted in news of the arrival of new members to the family.
Eva’s determination and faith helped her navigate life challenges. Her sons might even say she was a little stubborn at times! She mastered frugality in raising her family and became an accomplished seamstress. She had an adventuresome side, fulfilling her desire in later years to ride a hot air balloon, joining siblings on a sailing afternoon, volunteering at Klondike Days, and enjoying the thrill of learning to use her computer.
Eva was kind and loving, always offering a hug or two, and a cheery smile. She enjoyed her last years as a resident of the Tuoi Hac Golden Age Manor where she participated in social events, when she was able, and received the care she needed. A special thanks to her caregivers and fellow residents.
We already miss you. You will remain in our hearts always.
