With great sadness, the family of Kendra Jane Phythian announces that Kendra passed away peacefully at the age of 29 year, after being challenged with glioblastoma brain cancer.
Kendra was predeceased by her father Hugh Phythian and many other significant generational ancestors.
Kendra is remembered by husband Braden Yakubow, mother Irene Phythian, siblings Erika and Dennis, Oma Inge Steinke, as well as numerous extended family members and acquaintences.
Special thanks to the Grey Nuns Palliative Care, Unit 43, for their care and support.
A Celebration of Kendra Jane's Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 – 34 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the family.
